Why We Align
Jack is a Tucson, AZ native and first generation bi-lingual American, whose parents immigrated from Mexico in the 70’s. His mother is passionate about a hard work ethic and has over 30 years in the retail industry, achieving heights as a store manager and national trainer. His father is a Navy veteran, electrician by trade and entrepreneur. It is the hard work ethic his mother instilled in him and his father’s love and fundamental and global understanding of business that is the motivator for Jack’s aspirations to entrepreneurship. This drives him to continuously push himself to be better for his family, clients and community.
Entrepreneurship is nothing new to Jack. He was constantly exposed to it growing up as he witnessed his father adamantly work to create something new or special for the working people in their small town community. Fortunately, he also witnessed the difficulties and struggles that came with having a lack in resources, guidance, and investor foresight. It is with this conscious memory and his passion to help other’s succeed, that drove Jack to start Cumbre Consulting. Knowing that combined with the dreams, passion, and grit entrepreneurs bring, and his corporate business acumen, success in development, and forward looking mindset, he can help strategically scale businesses to their full potential.

Jack graduated from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management with a BS in Business Administration, and is a die hard, all sports, Wildcat fan. “Bear Down”!!! He also holds his PHR “Professional in Human Resource” certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute. He has excelled and held prominent positions in well recognized companies like PepsiCo-Frito Lay, UPS, ADP and Paylocity, working with all levels of their clients’ organization.
On his free time, he enjoys volunteering at the Food Bank, Gospel Rescue Mission, and other non-profit organizations. His light-hearted personality is always a hit at family dinners and his hard work, yet fun demeanor, has contributed to leading his recreational soccer, kickball, and volleyball teams to championships. He strives to continuously advance his knowledge in linking business and people, and works diligently to be a resource to the business community and city. He looks forward to hearing your story and ambitions.
